Washington is broken. Our politicians are owned by Big Business. They serve Big Business.
All but the most rarest and most outstandingly excellent elected officials should be voted out of office after a single term. It is the only way Americans have the slightest hope of reminding our them that we put them in office and we take them out of office. Big Business may pad their pockets and pay for their campaigns but we hire our elected officials and we fire them.
Whatever resulting instability there is will be good in the long run. That instability is the only chance we have of shaking our country out of the grip of the Goldman Sackers et al.
